EDUCATION PROGRAM
STUDENT SINGERS

Middle school students who perform 2-3 concerts per year
-
Singer rehearse six consecutive Mondays evenings before the concert

Sign ups are available until the week before the first rehearsal

Students can participate with the recommendation of a music teacher

Participation is no cost
APPRENTICE SINGERS
-
High school students who sing with PMC
-
There are six rehearsals per month at two and a half hours each
-
The rehearsals are every Monday evening, one Wednesday and Saturday morning per month
-
They are assigned a mentor singer in their voice section
-
Students can participate with the recommendation of a music teacher
-
Participation is no cost
STUDENT COMPOSERS
-
High school students who write choral music
-
Students meet regularly with professional composer/mentors
-
Students begin early November and work steadily until June
-
The final performance is at the annual "Listening To The Future" Concert
-
Students can participate with the recommendation of a music teacher

PMC CONCERT VOLUNTEERS
-
High school students who help out with PMC concerts before and after performance
-
They greet patrons, pass out programs, collect donations in baskets, as well as other assigned tasks
-
High school students experienced with sales can work the Front Desk
-
Students earn community service credit

Opportunities are always open for the next concert
